Welcome to my never-up-to-date portfolio website.
My name is Yudi Wu, I'm a Creative Producer/Practitioner & a 'not-real-artist' based in South West. My work focuses on the agency of marginalised communities (usually queer people, immigrants, and neurodivergent people), often with themes such as abjection and cyberculture.
I'm currently thinking about:
1. how to put creative technology (especially the online side of things) and socially engaged art together
2. how grassroots artists and marginalised communities could work together towards local regeneration.
While I'm trying my best to convey myself here, a portfolio website might not be the best agent to tell you what I do. I'm not exactly a visual artist, nor do I attach myself to 2D, 3D, film, animation, music, text, or any specific formats - I care the most about (participatory) experience, (community-led) process, and social change.
(sounds a bit obnoxious I know, but really it just means that I'm a huge people pleaser & I do any format that speaks to the people/thing that I work with)
(pls don't judge me for using adobe portfolio i'm making a cool & green website soon i swear )
